We shoot a lot of weddings but for this wedding we wanted to make special mention of how much we enjoyed our time documenting the day. Nancy + Orville met us last year and we had an absolutely hilarious and awesome time doing their engagement pictures. Spending the day with Nancy + Orville was like spending a day with the closest of friends. We walked into the bridal prep and was greated by Nancy before getting her makeup done, and there was a certain warmth and familiarity to seeing her. We knew Orville was probably still in bed. ;)

We saw so many friends that we knew from long ago at this wedding and reconnecting was great! It was the union of two cultures and families, Korean and Chinese. We have roots in both cultures - Kenneth being raised in a Korean church, his dad acting as youth pastor for over 7 years, and both of us being Chinese.

It was a fun-filled and action packed day, with oh so much going on. A few things of special note that we wanted to mention.... Nancy and Orville did such a great job with the decorating and arrangements for the reception. There's a shot of the tables in the slideshow above. When we walked into the reception location at the Crowne Plaza we were really taken aback at how beautiful everything looked.
