Kim + Shane had an epic winter wedding at the Juniper Hotel in Banff, Alberta.
The day started out with the girls getting hair and makeup done at Rapunzel's in Canmore, while the guys prepped back at the hotel. Kim's vintage-style veil gave her a glam chic look. The ceremony was held in the Kiguli Room at the Juniper.
Now, the groom and all the groomsmen are phys ed teachers, so you can imagine that the group shots would include the gym! The bridal party headed out to the Banff Centre to shoot some hoops and do some rock climbing. Kim is the first bride we've seen to climb a rock wall, and fearlessly suspend herself perpendicularly in the air. This is what we call boundaryless wedding photography. Way to work HARD for your pictures Kim!
The couple had an awesome + supportive bridal party, even battling the bitter cold for some outdoor winter shots. PS - thanks Kenny for all the boosts, our honorary photo assistant.
The reception venue was elegantly decorated with hand-crafted ice sculptures and natural settings. There were a lot of cherished moments to document of the couple and their closest family and friends. The last few pictures showcase some of the most intimate moments between friends and family, with love and tears of joy. Kim + Shane, thank you for choosing us to photograph your spectacular Banff wedding! It was a blessing to be there.
Cheers,
Kenneth + Elaine
