Another unbelievable destination wedding! It's been awhile since we've last posted, since we've been out of the country so much this past month. However, we are so excited to blog this wedding. For this blog post we decided to do something a little bit different - going back to our roots - we're posting up collages in a bit of a different way. ;)
Jungwon + Josh brought us down to Cancun Mexico for a week of fun and sun, for their wedding at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda. We've been to many hotels around the world, and the Blue Bay definitely stands up as one of the best that we've ever been to. Brand new facilities greeted us, with amenities spread out all over the resort - that and the food was wonderful.
Spending time with this bunch was such a treat. From birthday parties to taxi cab rides to volleyball games on the beach, we had a blast. Some of Jungwon + Josh's family and friends came from as far away as Korea to be a part of their wedding day. Everyone was so friendly, warm and wonderful. We were invited in, and embraced as part of the family right from the get-go.
Jungwon + Josh, thank-you for inviting us into your world and for choosing us as your destination wedding photographers! It is a blessing to know that we have friends in Chicago. Enjoy the pics!
Cheers :)

More interesting elements around the resort. Note the beautiful weather!
There was a huge birthday bash for Josh's dad who turned 60! It was a huge surprise for him.
Beach fun all week, including volleyball and sand soccer!
On the wedding day, here is Josh getting ready. And on the right, the rings on the boutonniere.
Jungwon's shoes, Jean-Michael Cazabat's, super high end and swanky. ;) And the girls getting ready.
At the ceremony, it was beautiful weather! Here's Jungwon and her parents sharing a laugh!
 The bridal party!
And the guys doing their thing ;)
The girls having fun on the beach.
At the reception, there was awesome details.
At the start of the reception, the couple started the dance right at the beginning. Great idea!
Everyone was out on the dance floor, celebrating.
Moments during the reception including the cake smash. ;)
Then after the speeches and dinner, it was back onto the dance floor.
As with all our destinations we had awesome weather on our after-day session.
 Beautiful beaches + Beautiful couple
More of them just enjoying themselves.
Jungwon was such an elegant bride.
And the clouds ain't bad either ;)
Getting kicked off piers + beautiful bride. What more could we ask for? :)
 Interesting locations on the beach.
Moments after taking this image, the coast guard came and kicked us out. :)
So we moved along the beach and found other things for our use.
Uncommercialized parts of the beach look like a mini jungle.
Then we took a trip out to Playa Del Carmen.
Cool churches in town offered interesting locations.
Then we drove way out into the booneys to work in a cave found in someone's backyard. ;)
In some parts of the cave there was absolutely no light at all. So we had to do some light painting. :)
And here is the team of crazies, who spent the better part of the day taxiing around Mexico for pictures. One of these images was shot from an upgraded first class seat, which our couple so courteously upgraded us to! Big time thanks guys!
