Anju + Carlos, our newest New York destination couple, had their wedding in sunny and hot Acapulco at the beautiful Casa Iguana. It was wonderful photographing at the venue again, a great place for destination weddings. It's amazing how many things changed in the one year since we shot Sarah + Adam's destination wedding. Some things remained the same, however, including the hot and sunny weather. In all the times we've been in Acapulco for destination weddings we've never experienced a single drop of rain!

The first day we shot the couple's engagement session, an important time for the couple to warm up to the camera and a great chance to visit some locations we normally wouldn't do. This time we shot in old Acapulco itself, shop hopping and being followed by a small group of people who were convinced they were movie stars. =)

On the wedding day shortly after, it was an incredible time of emotional vows and some hard core dancing in Casa Iguana. Anju + Carlos, you both did a great job with organizing everything from the decor to the catering. We're so blessed to have spent our latest time in Acapulco with you, from the "magazine stand pics" to getting chased by dogs through alleys. You both are amazing people. Next time we're in New York we have to hang out again!
